Mulan is a friendly mama dog.  She loves people, good with dogs and cats.

Mulan is one great dog.  She is friendly, sweet, gentle and well-behaved.  Mulan loves people, great with dogs, and gentle with young children.  She is now in a foster home with her puppy, Murphy, patiently waiting for a loving home.  She is now living with over 50 rescued dogs, all the doggies learn to share everything from affection to food to toys.  Mulan started some basic obedience training and is learning at a good pace. She is crate-trained and house-trained.  Mulan is one smart and lovely girl and will make a lovely family dog.

Mulan’s Rescue Story

Sweet Mulan was found in the mountain side with her litter of puppies.  Some kind people would leave some food for her and some has threatened to kill them. Unfortunately, no one was willing to take them in.  A kind lady who lives nearby decided to try and help get her puppies adopted, and was successful in getting all except one adopted.  Mulan was left with her son, Murphy, alone in the mountains. The lady contacted a responsible organization and asked for help.  After seeing Mulan’s plight, the founder agreed to take in Mulan and Murphy before it’s too late.  However, once they arrived at the vet it was found that the puppy, Murphy, was paralyzed in his back legs.  It seems that this was a birth defect.  Even though the organization was not told about this, the founder did not turn Mulan and her boy away.  Mulan has been an excellent mother keeping Murphy safe by her side.  Poor girl was dehydrated and malnourished when she arrived at the vet because she gave all her energy and food to her puppies.
They had a complete health checkup. Luckily, both of them passed negative on their blood tests and are now very healthy.

Mulan still gets to spend time with Murphy and at times separated as they might not end up together in the same home.  Mulan is ready for her own forever home and Murphy might still need a few more months as he waits for his leg amputation.  We are praying for a loving home for Mulan and hopefully when she settles down, will also consider to bring Murphy home.

Mulan has been spayed, vaccinated, chipped and de-wormed.  Please give this great mama dog a loving home!
