Mars is a loving boy.  He is great with people, gentle with children, and good with dogs of all sizes.

Mars is a wonderful dog!  He is friendly with people and good with all dogs big and small.  Mars is also very sweet and gentle when he meets strangers.  Although Mars did not have a good start in life.  This did not stop him from loving and trusting anyone he meets.  Mars is now in an experienced foster home where he gets some basic obedience training started.  He is living with 50 other rescued dogs.  He loves playing with other dogs and learns to share everything from food to toys to affection.  Mars walks well on leash, is a good off leash dog, and do well in car rides.  He is also crate trained and will do well in any home as he is a loving boy!

Mars’s Rescue Story

Mars was rescued by his foster mom in a busy street going up the mountain road of a tourist site.   Mars’s foster mom was on her way home one midnight.  She was hungry and stopped by a convenience store to get some food and water.  She sat in front of the store waiting for her food.  Sweet Mars came up to her and begged for some food.  He didn’t have a collar on him and she looked around looking for his owners.  The manager at the store says he has been dumped and has been hanging around quietly.  He said some kind people will leave him food and many will chase him away.  Poor boy must be so scared and confused and still hoping his owners will come back for him.  It started pouring hard and his foster mom didn’t have the heart to leave him in the rain.  She quickly got a leash over him and Mars gently got onto her car with her and ride nicely on the way home.

The next day Mars was rushed to the vet for a complete health checkup.  Luckily, he is healthy and had passed negative on his blood tests.  His foster mom is an experienced dog rescuer and has found over a thousand dogs loving homes around the world.  Mars adjusted very well in her home with many other rescued dogs.  They keep each other company and enjoy their daily hikes around the mountain road.

Mars is ready to begin his new life with any loving family.  He is such a wonderful dog and will love you back with his whole heart.  Please give him a home and never leave him behind again.
