Cress is friendly and playful girl!  She is good with people, gentle with children, and good with dogs of all sizes.  Cress has been through a rough start in life.  However, she still loves everyone she meets.  Cress has a good temperament and lots of love to give.  She is doing well in her foster home and ready for her forever home.   Cress started some leash training and is learning at a good pace.  She is crate-trained and doing well on her housetraining.  She rides well in the car and can wait patiently while her foster mom runs errands.  Cress is a wonderful dog and will make a good companion to any family.

Cress’s Rescue Story

Cress was living as a stray dog on the streets.  She is so friendly and would go up to people hoping someone will give her a home.  Unfortunately, people were not kind to strays and would often beat her to chase her away.  Cress was rescued by a volunteer of a TNR (Trap / Neuter / Return) rescue group.  The rescue has a temporary shelter for the dogs.  TNR groups specialize in getting stray animals spayed and neutered and the animals are returned to their original location to live as homeless dogs.  TNR programs help with the overpopulation of unwanted animals.  The volunteer reached out to an experienced international rescue organization to help with them and some other puppies that are still too young to be released back to the streets.  The founder of the rescue organization has over 180 dogs waiting for homes.  However, she could not bear to see them going back to the mountain and suffer on the streets.  She agreed to take them home and give them a chance in life.

Cress had a thorough medical checkup.  She had been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests.  Please give Cress a loving home to grow up.
