Tami is a sweet and shy pup!  Tami loves her humans and good with other dogs.  She has a good temperament and lots of love to give.  Tami has been through a rough start in life.  She is shy with new people at first.  However, there is not a mean bone in her.  Tami is doing well in her foster home and ready for a forever home.   Tami started some leash training and is learning at a good pace.  She is crate-trained and doing well on her housetraining.  She rides well in the car and can wait patiently while her foster mom runs errands.  We are looking for a committed family to continue training and socializing to help her build confidence.

TAMI’s Rescue Story

Poor Tami and her siblings were abandoned in a park.  They were rescued by a volunteer of a TNR (Trap / Neuter / Return) rescue group.  TNR groups specialize in getting stray animals spayed and neutered and the animals are returned to their original location to live as homeless dogs.  TNR programs help with the overpopulation of unwanted animals.  The volunteer reached out to an experienced international rescue organization to help with them and some other puppies that are still too young to be released back to the streets.  The founder of the rescue organization has over 180 dogs waiting for homes.  She really does not have space for another dog.  However, she could not bear to see them suffer on the streets.  She agreed to take them home and give them a chance in life.

They adjusted well since they arrived at the foster home.  All the dogs welcomed them into the pack.  They play and run together every day.  Tami is socialized with big and small dogs.

Tami had a thorough medical checkup.  She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests.  Please give Tami a loving home where she will never be left behind again.
