Betty is a very sweet and happy girl!  She loves everyone she meets, gentle with children, and good with dogs of all sizes.  Betty has a good temperament and lots of love to give.  She has been through a rough start in life. However, she still loves and trusts every human she meets.  Betty one eye was hurt when living on the streets.  She had it surgical removed and has completely recovered.  Betty is doing well in her foster home and ready for her forever home.   Betty started some leash training and is learning at a good pace.  She is crate-trained and doing well on her housetraining.  She rides well in the car and can wait patiently while her foster mom runs errands.  Betty is a wonderful dog and will make a great family dog.

Betty’s Rescue Story

Betty was abandoned on the streets.  She was rushed to the vet and does not have a microchip.  Poor girl was not spayed and must have several litters in her past.  Betty most likely lived in horrible condition as her nails were super long and she was really malnutrition.

She was rescued by a volunteer of a TNR rescue group.  TNR groups specialize in getting stray animals spayed and neutered and the animals are returned to their original location to live as homeless dogs.  TNR programs help with the overpopulation of unwanted animals.  The volunteer reached out to an experienced international rescue organization to help with them and some other puppies that are still too young to be returned back to the streets.  The founder of the rescue organization has over 180 dogs waiting for homes.  However, she could not bear to see them suffer on the streets.  She agreed to take Betty home and give her a chance in life

Betty had a thorough medical checkup.  She had been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests.  Please give Betty a loving home where she would not be left behind again.
