Uni is a mellow and gentle girl!  Uni is good with people, gentle with children, and good with dogs of all sizes.  She has a good temperament and lots of love to give.  Uni has been through a rough start in life.  She is shy at first with new people.  However, it doesn’t take her long to warm up.  Uni is doing well in her foster home and ready for a forever home.   Uni started some leash training and is learning at a good pace.  She is crate-trained and doing well on her housetraining.  She rides well in the car and can wait patiently while her foster mom runs errands.  Uni is a wonderful dog and will make a good family dog.

UNI’s Rescue Story

Poor Uni was abandoned in the mountain.  A young lady was in the area with her dog.  Uni followed her around and begged the lady to bring her home.  The lady cannot keep her and left some food for her.  She went home and posted her story on Facebook hoping to find her a home.  She went back to check on Uni and she stayed in the same area waiting for help.  Weeks went by and no one had called for her.  The lady reached out to an experienced international rescue organization to save her as other rescues won’t help her because black dogs are the hardest to adopt out.  The founder of the rescue organization has over 180 dogs waiting for homes.  She really does not have space for another dog.  However, she could not bear to see Uni suffer on the streets.  She agreed to take Uni home and give her a chance in life.

Uni had a thorough medical checkup.  Uni has been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests.  Please give Uni a loving home where she will never be left behind again.
