Sachiko is a happy and playful girl! Sachiko is good with people, gentle with children, and good with dogs of all sizes. She has a good temperament and lots of love to give. Sachiko has been through a rough start in life. However, it does not stop her from loving and trusting people. Sachiko is a tripod, one of her hind legs has been amputated. She can walk and run like any other four-legged dog. It does not affect her health and prevent her from living a happy life! Sachiko is doing well in her foster home and ready for a forever home. Sachiko started some leash training and is learning at a good pace. She is crate-trained and doing well on her housetraining. She rides well in the car and can wait patiently while her foster mom runs errands. Sachiko is a wonderful dog and will make a good family dog!
SACHIKO’s Rescue Story
Poor Sachiko was living as a stray dog in the mountain. She was rescued by a kind student. The girl is an animal lover and has a dog of her own and cannot keep her. She posted her story on Facebook hoping to find her a loving home. She also reached out to several rescue groups and no one was willing to take her in because she is a black dog. Black dogs around the world are the hardest to find homes. The volunteer reached out to an experienced international rescue organization to help save her. The founder of the rescue organization has over 180 dogs waiting for homes. However, she could not bear to see her going back to the streets. She agreed to take Sachiko home and give her a chance in life.
They scheduled to meet at the vet so she can have a thorough medical checkup. Sachiko has completely recovered from her leg amputation. She was most likely hurt when she was living on the street. We cannot be sure how she got hurt. Sachiko has been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests. Please give Sachiko a loving home where she will never be left behind again.
