Huddi is a sweet girl!  Huddi is good with people, gentle with children, and good with dogs of all sizes.  She has a good temperament and lots of love to give.  Huddi has been through a rough start in life.  She can be a little shy with new people at first.  However, it doesn’t take her long to warm up to them.  She is doing well in her foster home and ready for a forever home.   Huddi started some leash training and is learning at a good pace.  She is crate-trained and doing well on her housetraining.  She rides well in the car and can wait patiently while her foster mom runs errands.  We are looking for a committed family to be patient with her during the adjustment period.

HUDDI’s Rescue Story

Poor Huddi was living as a stray dog in the mountain.  She was rescued by a volunteer of a TNR (Trap / Neuter / Return) rescue group.  The rescue has a temporary rundown place for the dogs.  TNR groups specialize in getting stray animals spayed and neutered and the animals are returned to their original location to live as homeless dogs.  TNR programs help with the overpopulation of unwanted animals.  The volunteer reached out to an experienced international rescue organization to help with them and some other puppies that are still too young to be released back to the streets.  The founder of the rescue organization has over 180 dogs waiting for homes.  However, she could not bear to see them going back to the mountain and suffer on the streets.  She agreed to take them home and give them a chance in life.

Huddi had a thorough medical checkup.  She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests.  Please give Huddi a loving home where she will never be left behind again.
