Jan is a sweet and shy boy!  Jan loves his humans, gentle with children, and good with dogs of all sizes.  Jan has a rough start in life and is shy with new people at first.  He has a good temperament and lots of love to give.  Jan is doing well in his foster home and ready for his forever home.   Jan started some leash training and is learning at a good pace.  He is crate-trained and doing well on his housetraining.  He rides well in the car and can wait patiently while his foster mom runs errands.  Jan is a wonderful dog and will be a good family dog!  We are looking for a committed family to continue training and socialization with him.  Jan and his siblings can be adopted together or separately.

JAN’s Rescue Story

Poor Jan and his siblings were abandoned under a bridge.  They were living with a pack of over 60 dogs.  There are hardly any food and shelter.  A kind man is the only person kind to them.  He often brings them food.  However, he cannot take them all home.  The kind man reached out to a TNR rescue group.  TNR groups specialize in getting stray animals spayed and neutered and the dogs are returned to their original location to live as homeless dogs.  TNR programs help with the overpopulation of unwanted animals.  They do not take dogs in for adoptions.  The volunteer reached out to an experienced international rescue organization to help with them and some other puppies that are still too young to be returned back to the streets.  The founder of the rescue organization has over 180 dogs waiting for homes.  However, she could not bear to see them suffering on the streets.  She knew it was urgent to save them and give them a chance in life.

They had a thorough medical checkup.  They have been spayed & netuered, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on their blood tests.  Please give Jan a forever home to grow up safely!
