Winola is a sweet and gentle girl!  Winola has been through a rough start in life and is shy with new people.  She has a good temperament and does not have a mean bone in her.  Winola is good with dogs of all sizes.  She is even tested good with cats.
Winola is doing very well in her foster home and ready for her forever home.  Winola started some leash training and is learning at a good pace.  She is crate-trained and doing well on her housetraining.  Winola rides well in the car and can wait patiently while her foster mom runs errands.  We are looking for a committed family to continue to socialize and train her and help her build confidence.

Winola’s Rescue Story

Poor Winola was found abandoned and living under a container truck for 6 months.  Winola was all alone and so scared and had no food to survive on.  She was emaciated and in a horrible state.  A kind staff from an organization specializes in TNR (Trap / Neuter / Release) program was sent out to catch some dogs in the area to control the over population of stray animals.  She drove by and saw Winola hiding.  The volunteer got out of her car and set up a trap and used food to lure her.  Luckily, she managed to capture her.  Unfortunately, she cannot give her a home and she was left with nowhere to go.  She reached out to an international rescue organization.  When the founder of the organization heard the news, she knew it was urgent to save Winola.  She was rushed to the vet for a complete health checkup.

Winola adjusted the moment she arrived at the founder’s home.  She loves the doggie beds and is a quiet and mellow girl.  Winola is now living with over 150 dogs in the founder’s home.  All dogs learn to share everything from food to toys to affection.

Winola has been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests.
Please give Winola a forever home where she will never have to starve again.
