Oolong is a sweet and gentle boy!  Poor Oolong has been through a rough start in life and can be shy with new people at first.  He loves his humans, gentle with children, and good with dogs of all sizes.  Oolong will do best in a home with another dog as he loves all dogs.  He is doing very well in his foster home and ready for his forever home.  Oolong walks well on leash and enjoys his trips to the dog park.  He started some leash training and is learning at a good pace.  He is crate-trained and doing well on his housetraining.  Oolong rides well in the car and can wait patiently while his foster mom runs errands.  We are looking for a committed home to continue to socialize and train him and to help him build confidence.

OOLONG’s Rescue Story

Poor Oolong was living on the streets as a stray dog and there are no shelter and food.  He was surviving on garbage and hid behind bushes to keep himself safe.  A volunteer for TNR (Trap / Neuter / Release) groups caught her.  TNR groups specialize in getting stray animals spayed and neutered and the dogs are returned to their original location to live as homeless dogs.  TNR programs help with the overpopulation of unwanted animals.

Oolong is such a good boy and the volunteer was very sad to see him living on the streets.  He reached out to an experienced international rescue organization to help with some of the dogs that are scheduled to be returned back to the streets.  The founder of the rescue organization has over 150 dogs waiting for homes.  However, she could not bear to see them going back to the mountain and suffered on the streets.  She agreed to take Oolong back to her home and give him a chance in life.

Oolong had a thorough medical checkup.  He had been neutered, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on his blood tests.  Please give Oolong a loving forever home where he will not be left alone again.
