Jax is a sweet and gentle boy!  He is good with people, gentle with children, and good with dogs of all sizes.  Jax is even tested good with cats.  Jax has been through a rough start in life and is shy with new people at first.  Jax has a good temperament and has lots of love to give!  He is doing very well in his foster home and ready for a forever home.  Jax started some leash training and is learning at a good pace.  He is crate-trained and doing well on his housetraining.  Jax rides well in the car and can wait patiently while his foster mom runs errands.  We are looking for a family that is committed to continue to socialize and train him to help his build confidence.

JAX’S RESCUE STORY:

Poor Jax and his 5 siblings were abandoned in a remote mountain.  They were rescued by a volunteer of a TNR rescue group.  The rescue has a temporary rundown place for the dogs.  TNR groups specialize in getting stray animals spayed and neutered and the animals are released to their original location to live as homeless dogs.  TNR programs help with the overpopulation of unwanted animals.  The volunteer reached out to an experienced international rescue organization to help with them and some other puppies that are still too young to be released back to the streets.  The founder of the rescue organization has over 150 dogs waiting for homes.  However, she could not bear to see them going back to the mountain and suffer on the streets.  She agreed to take Jax and his siblings home and give them a chance in life.

Jax had a thorough medical checkup.  He has been neutered, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on his blood tests.  Please give Jax a loving home to grow up.
