Kaylen is a sweet and gentle girl!  She has been through a rough start in life and is shy with new people.  Once she settles down in a home, you will see her sweet and loving side.  Kaylen loves her humans, gentle with children, and good with dogs of all sizes.  Kaylen is doing very well in her foster home and ready for her forever home.   Kaylen started some leash training and is learning at a good pace.  She is crate-trained and doing well on her housetraining.  She rides well in the car and can wait patiently while her foster mom runs errands.  We are looking for a committed home to continue to socialize/train her and be patient with her during the transition period.

KAYLEN’s Rescue Story

Poor Kay and her puppies, Kaylen and Kayden, were abandoned on the streets.  People in the area were not nice to them.  They would often beat them or chase them by throwing rocks at them.  They were first rescued by a volunteer of a TNR rescue group.  The rescue has a temporary rundown place for the dogs.  TNR groups specialize in getting stray animals spayed and neutered and the animals are released to their original location to live as homeless dogs.  TNR programs help with the overpopulation of unwanted animals.  The volunteer reached out to an experienced international rescue organization to help with them and some other puppies that are still too young to be released back to the streets.  The founder of the rescue organization has over 150 dogs waiting for homes.  However, she could not bear to see them suffer on the streets.  She agreed to take Kay and her puppies home and give them a chance in life.

Kaylen had a thorough medical checkup.  She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests.  Please give Kaylen a loving home to grow up.
