Karlie is a happy and sweet!  She has a good temperament and is one smart girl.  Karlie has been through a rough start in life.  However, she still trusts and loves people.  Karlie is friendly with people, gentle with children, and good with dogs of all sizes.  Karlie is even tested good with cats.  Karlie is full of love and deserves a loving home.  She is doing very well in her foster home and ready for her forever home.  Karlie started some leash training and is learning at a good pace.  She is crate-trained and doing well on her housetraining.  Karlie rides well in the car and can wait patiently while her foster mom runs errands.  Karlie is a good girl and will make a lovely family dog.

Poor Karlie was found abandoned in a remote mountain where there are no food and shelter.  Karlie was all alone and crying out of starvation.  A kind staff from an organization specializes in TNR (Trap / Neuter / Release) program was sent out to catch some dogs in the area to control the over population of stray animals.  She drove by and saw Karlie sitting on the road.  The volunteer got out of her car and left her some food.  She cannot give her a home and had to leave.  She reached out to an experienced rescue organization.  When the founder of the organization heard the news, she was very sad and begged her to go back and rescue Karlie.  Poor girl was still waiting quietly on the same spot.  Karlie was rushed to the vet for a complete health checkup.   Luckily, she is healthy and just underweight.  The founder’s home has over 150 dogs waiting for homes.  However, she didn’t have the heart to leave her behind.  She promised her a loving home where she will be treated with love and proper care.

She adjusted the moment she arrived at the founder’s home.  She is enjoying the company of all her rescued dogs.  She started leash training and is socialized with big and small dogs.

Karlie has been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests.
Please give Karlie a forever home where she will never have to starve again.
