Terri is a sweet and happy puppy!  She is good with people, loves her humans, gentle with children, and good with dogs of all sizes.  Terri and her siblings are doing very well in their foster home and ready for their forever home.  Terri loves her daily walks and enjoys trips to the doggie park.  She started some leash training and is learning at a good pace.  She is crate-trained and doing well on her housetraining.  Terri rides well in the car and can wait patiently while her foster mom runs errands.  Terri is a lovely girl and will make a good family dog.  We are looking for responsible families that understand the work involve in raising a puppy and will continue with training and socialization.

TERRI’s Rescue Story

Terri’s mom, Truly, and her siblings were abandoned along a coastline.  There were living in horrible conditions and have no shelter and food.  A volunteer caught them and brought them to a shelter.  The shelter is a temporary rented piece of land for TNR (Trap / Neuter / Release) purposes.  TNR groups specialize in getting stray animals spayed and neutered and the animals are released to their original location to live as homeless dogs.  TNR programs help with the overpopulation of unwanted animals.

A volunteer reached out to an experienced international rescue organization to help with Truly and her puppies.  They are still too young to be released back to the streets.  The founder of the rescue organization has over 150 dogs waiting for homes.  However, she could not bear to see them going back to the mountain and suffered on the streets.  She agreed to take Truly and her puppies back to her home and give them a chance in life.

Terri and her siblings had a thorough medical checkup.  They been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on their blood tests.  Please give Truly and her puppies loving forever homes.

Notes:

Romeo & Juliet are available meet and greet now.  All other dogs posted are international rescues from Taiwan.  Taiwan has a huge stray population and these dogs are all waiting for a chance in life.  If you are interested in a particular dog, we can schedule a video call to see some doggies and discuss a good fit.  Please send an online application with home photos.  You can email your home photos to contact@adoptadoggie.org.  Due to Covid 19, our earliest flight is pending for September.  Thank you for your patience.
