Scooby is a sweet and happy boy!  He is good with people, loves his humans, gentle with children, and good with dogs of all sizes.  Scooby is even tested good with cats.  Scooby has been through a rough life.  He can be shy and unsure of new people.  Scooby is doing very well in his foster home and ready for his forever home.  Scooby started some leash training and is learning at a good pace.  He is crate-trained and doing well on his housetraining.  Scooby rides well in the car and can wait patiently while his foster mom runs errands.  Scooby is a good boy and will make a lovely family dog.

Scooby’s Rescue Story

Poor Scooby was found abandoned inside a dog park.  He was all alone starving and didn’t have a place to go.  People came in and out of the dog park.  He played with dogs and no one helped him.  Scooby’s rescuer/foster mom is the founder of an experienced rescue organization.  She was at the dog park with 10 of her dogs.  She noticed Scooby because of his short legs.  As people were leaving the park, Scooby looked extremely sad and he went to the far end of the park and lay down.  His rescuer asked a few people at the park and they told her he has been living in the park for the past week.  She cannot believe no one helped him and he must have been starving.  Scooby was very scared at first and after several attempts, she managed to slip a leash over his head.  The founder has over 150 dogs in her home waiting for homes.  She really didn’t have space for Scooby.  However, she didn’t want to see him homeless or sent to a dog shelter.  She promised him a loving home where he will be treated with love and proper care.

Scooby was rushed to the vet for a complete health checkup.  Luckily, he is one healthy boy.  He adjusted well in her home.  Her pack of rescued dogs welcomed him and he is enjoying playing with all her rescued dogs.  Scooby started leash training and is socialized with big and small dogs.

Scooby has been neutered, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on his blood tests.
Please give Scooby a forever home where he will never be left behind.
