Sherri’s Rescue Story

Poor Sherri and her buddy, Sheldon, were found abandoned in a remote mountain where there are no food and shelter.  The founder of an experience international rescue organization got an urgent message to rescue an injured dog who lost his 2 front legs.  The founder has over 150 rescued dogs in her home waiting for homes.  However, she couldn’t sleep thinking of him in the cold.  The next day, the founder and her volunteers went searching the mountain.  When they finally locate Joey, the 2 legged dog, they setup humane traps to catch him.  While they were waiting for Joey to go into the trap, they saw 6 other homeless dogs in the area.  They were finally able to trap Joey but couldn’t leave without saving the other dogs.  They spent the next few weeks in the area and were finally able to rescue 4 of the 6 other dogs.  Sherri and Sheldon were the 2 lucky ones as they didn’t loose their legs to inhumane traps around the mountain.  The other 2 dogs both lost one of their legs and eyes.  It was a very difficult time for the organization to rescue so many injured dogs at once.  However, the founder was very happy that they all adjusted in her home and have warm beds to sleep in at night.  She promised to find them loving homes where they will be treated with love and care.

Sherri is enjoying the company of all her rescued dogs.  She started leash training and is socialized with big and small dogs.  Sherri loves her daily pack walk in the mountain, enjoys her trips to the dog parks, and is also a calm and happy dog when she is at home.

Sherri and the other dogs had a thorough medical checkup.  Sherri has been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests.
Please give Sherri a forever home where she will never be left behind.
