Bess is a gentle and sweet girl!  Bess is very polite when meeting strangers and can be a little shy.  She loves her humans and is good with dogs of all sizes.  Bess is doing well in her foster home and ready for a forever home.  Bess started some leash training and is one smart girl.  She is crate-trained and housetraining is going well.  Bess rides well in the car and can wait patiently while her foster mom runs errands.  Bess enjoys her walks and also do well at the dog parks and beaches. We are looking for a patient family to give this sweet girl a loving home to call her own.

Bess’s Rescue Story

Bess and her brother, Bertie, were found as stray puppies in a remote mountain where there are no food and shelter.  They were starving and waited on the street hoping that someone will spot them and help them.  Luckily, a kind older lady who runs an independent no kill shelter spotted them and got off her car to rescue them.  She brought them back to her shelter overcrowded with over 350 dogs.  She knew she didn’t have the environment for the puppies to grow up happily.  She called Bess’s now foster mom urgently for help with them.  Bess’s foster mom is an experienced dog rescuer.  Her home is full of dogs waiting for homes.  However, she didn’t have the heart to turn her back on them and see them grow up in the shelter.  She quickly drove over and brought them back to her home filled with love and proper care.

Bess has been vaccinated, spayed, de-wormed and microchip.  She is a healthy girl and patiently waiting for her forever home that will never leave her behind.  Will you be that special family for her?
