Susan is a sweet and gentle pup!  She is good with people, loves her humans, good with dogs of all sizes.  Susan is also gentle with children.  She is even tested good with cats.  Susan and her mom, Su, had been through a rough life.  However, this did not stop them from loving people.  Susan is doing very well in her foster home and ready for a forever home.  She started some leash training and is one smart girl.  She is crate-trained and doing well on her housetraining.  Susan rides well in the car and can wait patiently while her foster mom runs errands.  Susan is a lovely pup and will make a lovely family dog.

Poor Susan and her mom, Su, were found abandoned in a remote mountain.  A kind rescuer was in the area and heard them crying out of starvation.  She quickly gave them some food and they finished all in a few seconds.  They must have been starving for weeks.  The kind lady cannot give them a home as she lives in a small apartment and work long hours.  She will visit them when she has time and bring them some food.  They are always waiting for her in the same area.  However, people around the area are not nice to them and would beat them.  Unfortunately, 3 of her siblings were caught and went missing. Susan is the only surviving pup with her mo.  She posted their story on Facebook.  Months went by and no rescue were willing to help them as they are black dogs.  Black dogs are the hardest to find homes.  Through some searching, she reached out to an experienced rescue organization.  When the founder heard the story she knew it was urgent to save them and agreed to take them both in.  She has over 150 dogs in her home waiting for a chance in life.  However, she didn’t have the heart to see them suffering on the streets.  She promised them loving homes where they will be treated with love and proper care.

They were rushed to the vet for a complete checkup.  Luckily, they are healthy dogs.  They adjusted well once they arrived at their foster home.  The pack welcomed them and they are now enjoying their lives in their foster home.  Susan is socialized with dogs of all sizes.

Susan has been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests.  Please give Susana chance in life and all the love she deserves.
