Mia is a good temperament girl!  She is a sweet, mellow and a very well-behaved dog.  Mia had a horrible life.  However, she still trusts and loves humans with all her heart.  Mia is submissive to both people and dogs and good with young children.  There is not a mean bone in her.  She is even tested good with cats.  Mia is a very good girl and will do well in any loving home. She is house-trained and crate-trained.  Mia is leash trained and walks nicely on the leash.  Mia deserves her own loving forever home.

Mia’s Rescue Story

Mia did not have a good start in life.  After her rescue, she has blossomed into such an amazing girl.  Mia and her buddy, Mimi, were driven to the mountain and abandoned.  They were living next to a garbage field.  There was no shelter in the mountain.  They survived on the garbage they find and found shelter behind bushes and under trucks.  Their rescuer is the founder of an international rescue organization.  She lives nearby in the mountain and knew she had to rescue them.  Her home is full of 150 rescued dogs waiting for homes and doesn’t have space for another dog.  However, she couldn’t sleep at night thinking of them out in the cold.  She setup up a big humane trap and finally caught them together.  They were rushed to the vet for a complete health checkup, they were completely covered in flea and ticks.  Luckily, they are both healthy dogs.  She brought them back home and gave them a nice bath.  They both settled down well and enjoy the company of all her rescued dogs.  The pack welcomed them and they share everything together.

Mia started some basic leash training and she walks nicely on the leash.  She is socialized with both big and small dogs.  Mia will do well in any home as she is one sweet and gentle girl.

Mia has been vaccinated, spayed, de-wormed, and passed negative on her blood tests.  She is ready for her forever home.  Please give Mia a chance to live a happy life!
