Fontus is a happy, sweet, and playful boy!  He is friendly with people, gentle with children, and good with dogs of all sizes.  Fontus has a good temperament and has a lot of love to give.  He is doing very well in his foster home and ready for a forever home.  Fontus started some leash training and is learning at a good pace.  He is crate-trained and doing well on her housetraining.  Fontus rides well in the car and can wait patiently while his foster mom runs errands.  Fontus is a good pup and will make a lovely family dog.

Poor Fontus and his siblings were born as stray puppies.  His canine mother is a friendly sweet girl.  She gave birth to them in the mountain and took good care of them.  An organization specializes in TNR (Trap / Neuter / Release) program were sent out to catch the mama dog and get her spay to control the over population of stray animals.  Poor mama dog was spayed and dumped back to the street to live as a stray dog.  One of the kind volunteer, took the 2 female pups, Fontune & Fortuna, and left Fontus on the road with the mom.  She reached out to an experienced rescue organization.  When the founder of the organization heard the news, she was very sad and begged her to go back and pickup Fontus and the mama dog.  When they went back, they couldn’t find the mama dog and were lucky to locate Fontus.  The founder immediately took in all 3 of them before they were dumped back into the streets.  They were rushed to the vet for a complete health checkup.   Luckily, they are all healthy and just underweight.  The founder’s home has over 100 dogs waiting for homes.  However, she didn’t have the heart to leave them behind.  She promised them loving homes where they will be treated with love and proper care.

They adjusted the moment they arrived at the founder’s home.  They are enjoying the company of all the rescued dogs.  They started leash training and are socialized with big and small dogs.

Fontus has been neutered, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on his blood tests.
Please give Fontus a forever home where he will never be left behind.
