Phillip is a happy and playful boy!  He is friendly with people, gentle with children, and good with dogs of all sizes.  Phillip is even tested good with cats.  Phillip has been through a rough start in life.  However, this does not stop him from loving people.  Phillip has a good temperament and is full of love.  He is doing very well in his foster home and ready for a forever home.  Phillip started some leash training and is learning at a good pace.  He is crate-trained and doing well on his housetraining.  Phillip rides well in the car and can wait patiently while his foster mom runs errands.  Phillip is a good boy and will make a lovely family dog.

Poor Phillip was abandoned next to a garbage bin in a rainy day.  A kind lady was in the area and gave him some food.  She couldn’t give him a home but didn’t want to see him out in the rain.  She brought him home without a plan.  The kind lady sent several messages to different rescues hoping to find him help.  Unfortunately, no one was willing to take him in as he is a black dog.  The lady sent him to the government shelter.  The next day, an experienced rescue organization called her back.  The rescue was sad to hear the news and kindly asked her to bail Phillip out.  When she went to the shelter, Phillip was in a cage with 2 other black dogs.  She begged the rescue to help the 2 other dogs, Phoenix and Phylicity.  The founder of the organization has over 100 dogs waiting for homes.  However, she didn’t have the heart to turn her back on them.  She agreed and rushed them to the vet for a complete health checkup.  Luckily, they are healthy dogs and just needed some proper care.  She promised to find them good homes where they will be treated with love and care.

They adjusted the moment they arrived at the founder’s home.  They are enjoying the company of all the rescued dogs.  They started leash training and are socialized with big and small dogs.

Phillip has been neutered, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on his blood tests.
Please give Phillip a forever home where he will never be left behind again.
