Tai is a gentle and sweet boy!  He is good with people and gentle with young children.  Tai prefers to be with people more than other dogs.  He doesn’t care much about other dogs.  He is now in a foster home with lots of dogs and does well.  Tai has a rough start in life.  However, this does not stop him from loving and trusting people.  He is doing very well in his foster home and ready for a forever home.  Tai started some leash training and is learning at a good pace.  He is crate-trained and doing well on his housetraining.  Tai rides well in the car and can wait patiently while his foster mom runs errands.  Tai is a good boy and will make a lovely family dog.

Tai’s Rescue Story

Poor Tai was found starving on the street.  A kind lady was in the area and spotted him when he almost got hit by a speeding car.  The kind lady quickly went up to him and kept him safe.  She bought him some food.  She was very sad to leave him but she can’t take him home.  She took a photo of him and posted his story on Facebook hoping to find him a home.  However, no one had called for him and he was still waiting on the streets.  The kind lady will bring him food every few days.  Through a friend’s referral, the kind lady reached out to an experienced rescue organization.  The rescue has over a hundred dogs waiting for homes but the founder knew it was urgent to save Tai and promised to take him in.  Tai was rushed to the vet for a complete health checkup.  Poor Tai had heartworms since he lived on the streets.  He was given immediate treatment and has recovered from heartworms.  Like any healthy dogs, he will need a tablet of heartworm preventative every month.

Tai is enjoying his new life in his foster home.  He loves to be pet and is very happy to be finally safe.  Tai has been neutered, vaccinated, microchip, and de-wormed.  He is now ready for his own forever home.  Please give Tai a chance to be loved.
