Bridget is a happy, sweet, and playful girl!  She is friendly with people, gentle with children, and good with dogs of all sizes.  Bridget has a good temperament and has a lot of love to give.  She is doing very well in her foster home and ready for a forever home.  Bridget started some leash training and is learning at a good pace.  She is crate-trained and doing well on her housetraining.  Bridget rides well in the car and can wait patiently while her foster mom runs errands.  Bridget is a good girl and will make a lovely family dog.

Bridget’s Rescue Story

Poor Bridget was abandoned by her irresponsible owners.  The owners never treat her well and used her as a guard dog to protect her front yard.  She was tied on a heavy chain all her life.  All she wanted was to please her owners and wanted to be loved.  She was never spayed and got pregnant and gave birth to 9 beautiful puppies.  Her owners decided it was too much and abandoned all of them.  A kind volunteer had been keeping an eye on them and decided to take them in.  However, she could not give her a home.  She messaged an experienced rescue organization desperately for help.   When founder heard her story, she knew it was urgent to save her and promised to find her a loving home.  They quickly scheduled at date to meet at the vet.  Bridget had a thorough vet checkup.  Luckily, she is healthy and just underweight.  The founder’s home has over 100 dogs waiting for homes.  However, she didn’t have the heart to leave her behind.

Bridget adjusted the moment she arrived at the founder’s home.  She is enjoying the company of all the rescued dogs.  She started leash training and is socialized with big and small dogs.

Bridget has been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests.
Please give Bridget a forever home where she will never be left behind.
