Lux is a happy, sweet, and playful girl!  She is friendly with everyone she meets, gentle with children, and good with dogs of all sizes.  Lux is even tested good with cats.  Lux has a good temperament and is full of love!  She is doing very well in her foster home and ready for a forever home.  Lux started some leash training and is learning at a good pace.  She is crate-trained and doing well on her housetraining.  Lux rides well in the car and can wait patiently while her foster mom runs errands.  Lux is a good girl and will make a lovely family dog.

Lux’s Rescue Story

Poor Lux was found as a stray dog starving on the street.  The kind lady found her and posted her story on Facebook and a man called and adopted her.  The kind lady is not experience in adoption and just gave Lux to him without a home check.  After a month poor Lux was found on the street again.  The irresponsible guy just dumped her on the street.  The kind lady and her friends found a foster to take care of her.  Unfortunately, they got desperate and sent her to a government shelter.  Unfortunately, the shelter claims that she is not from their area and took her to the fire department and left her there.  Poor Lux is once again back to the street, and the kind fire fighters will leave some food for her.  The kind lady saw her post again and reached out to several rescue groups.  No one was willing to help her as she is a black dog.  Black dogs around the world are the hardest to place.  Luckily, an experienced rescue organization saw her post and knew it was urgent to save her before it’s too late.   They quickly scheduled a date to meet at the vet.  Lux had a thorough vet checkup.  Luckily, she is a healthy girl.  The founder of the rescue organization’s home has over 100 dogs waiting for homes.  However, she didn’t have the heart to leave Lux behind.  She promised to find Lux a good home where she will be treated with love and care.

Lux adjusted the moment she arrived at the founder’s home.  She is enjoying the company of all the rescued dogs.  She started leash training and is socialized with big and small dogs.

Lux has been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests.
Please give Lux a forever home where she will never be left behind.
