Lea is a happy, sweet, and playful pup!  She is friendly with people, good with children, and good with dogs of all sizes.  Lea has a good temperament and has a lot of love to give.  She is doing very well in her foster home and ready for a forever home.  Lea started some leash training and is learning at a good pace.  She is crate-trained and doing well on her housetraining.  Lea rides well in the car and can wait patiently while her foster mom runs errands.  Lea is a good girl and will make a lovely family dog.

Lea’s Rescue Story

Poor Lea and her sister, Lena, were found abandoned in a remote mountain.  They found shelter in a dried up ditch where they laid together and kept each other warm at night.  A kind lady was in the area and heard them crying out of starvation.  She quickly brought them some blankets to keep them dry and warm.  Unfortunately, she couldn’t take them home.  She reached out to several rescues and no one was willing to take them in.  Through some searching, she found an experienced international rescue organization.   When the founder heard their story, she knew it was urgent to save them before they died on the streets.  They quickly scheduled a date to meet at the vet.  They were rushed to the vet for a complete health checkup.  Luckily, they are healthy and just underweight.  The founder’s home has over 150 dogs waiting for homes.  However, she didn’t have the heart to leave them behind.  She promised to find them good homes where they will be treated with love and care.

Lea adjusted the moment she arrived at the founder’s home.  She is enjoying the company of all the rescued dogs.  She started leash training and is socialized with big and small dogs.

Lea has been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests.
Please give Lea a forever home where she can grow up happily.
