Brooks is a happy, sweet, and playful pupp!  He is friendly with people, gentle with children, and good with dogs of all sizes.  He is even tested good with cats.  Brooks has a good temperament and has a lot of love to give.  He is doing very well in his foster home and ready for a forever home.  Brooks started some leash training and is learning at a good pace.  He is crate-trained and doing well on his housetraining.  Brooks rides well in the car and can wait patiently while his foster mom runs errands.  Brooks is a great pup and will make a lovely family dog.

Brooks’s Rescue Story

Poor Brooks was found in a box and abandoned in a busy street.  He is such a good boy and waited patiently in the box.  From time to time, he will peep through the box and cried for help.  We can’t imagine how long he has been starving.  A kind lady was on the way home and found him.  The lady can’t give him a home but didn’t want him to get run over by speedy cars.  She brought him to the vet and posted his story hoping to find him a home.  Days went by and no one had called for him.  Through a friend’s referral, she reached out to an experienced rescue organization.  When founder heard his story, she knew it was urgent to save him before it’s too late.  They quickly scheduled a date to meet at the vet.  Brooks had a thorough vet checkup.  Luckily, he is healthy and just underweight.  The founder’s home has over 150 dogs waiting for homes.  However, she didn’t have the heart to leave him behind.  She promised to find Brooks a good home where he will be treated with love and care.

Brooks adjusted the moment he arrived at the founder’s home.  He is enjoying the company of all the rescued dogs.  He started leash training and is socialized with big and small dogs.

Brooks has been neutered, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on his blood tests.
Please give Brooks a forever home where he will never be left behind.
