Wendi is a good temperament girl.  She is very polilte with people, playful with dogs, good with cats, and gentle with children.

Wendi is a gentle pup!  Wendi is settling in nicely in her foster home after rescue.  She is shy at first and will quickly warm up.  Wendi is great with dogs of all sizes and cats.  Wendi and her siblings are doing very well and ready for their own forever homes.  Wendi started some leash training and is learning at a good pace. She is crate-trained and doing well on her housetraining.  Wendi rides well in the car and enjoys both a quiet home or an active life.  She is a wonderful girl and will make a lovely family dog.

Wendi’s Rescue Story

Poor Wendi and her siblings were born as stray puppies in a remote mountain area.  Their mama dog was very lean and didn’t have enough food to survive the cold winter season.  However, she took good care of her puppies and kept them warm in the bushes she had built for them.  A kind volunteer was in the area walking her dog and found them crying out of starvation.  The volunteer quickly rescued 3 of the puppies and the other 3 puppies went missing.  After 2 months of searching, the volunteer was able to locate Wendi and the rest of the girls.  It took a few days for her to finally trap all three of them.  They were rushed to the vet for a complete health checkup.  Luckily, they are all healthy and just underweight.  They were soon reunited with their 3 other siblings.  Wendi and her siblings grew up to be such wonderful puppies.  They have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, chipped, de-wormed, and passed negative on their blood tests.

We are looking for families that understands the responsibilities in raising puppies and have the time to properly socialize them to ensure they continue to grow up as happy and healthy dogs.  Before sending an application, please think twice if you have time to devote to raising a puppy and love them and be responsible for them forever.
