Happy Helen is a good temperament girl.  She loves people, good with young children, playful with dogs, and gentle with cats.

Helen is a great pup!  She loves everyone she meets, good with dogs and cats.  Helen is doing very well and ready for her own forever home.  Helen is also very friendly with the foster family’s son.  She is now in a foster home with over 50 rescued dogs enjoying the comfort of a safe and clean home.  All the doggies learn to share everything from affection to food to toys.  Helen started some basic obedience training and is learning at a good pace. She is crate-trained and house-trained.  Helen is one smart girl and will make a lovely family dog.

Helen’s Rescue Story

Poor Helen was found wandering the streets by a kind college student.  Helen also got ran over by a car.  The kind student quickly picked her up and she gave a few kisses in return.  The student didn’t know what to do and brought her home.  However, her parents weren’t too happy but let Helen stayed.  The student was determined to help little Helen find a home and posted her story on Facebook.  Unfortunately, no one had called and she was helpless.  Weeks went by and luckily the student’s relative saw her post and contacted an experienced rescue organization.  When the founder heard Helen’s story she knew it was urgent to save her.  The founder’s home is full of rescued dogs.  However, she didn’t want to see her either end up back on the streets or in an overcrowded government shelter and so immediately agreed to take her in. Helen was rushed to the vet for a complete healthy checkup.  Luckily, she is very healthy just underweight because of the lack of food.  Poor girl must have gone by with barely any food.  Helen is spayed, vaccinated, chipped, de-wormed, and passed negative on her blood tests.

Happy Helen adjusted the moment she arrived at her foster home.  She is enjoying playing with all her rescued dogs. Helen greets everyone with her wagging tail.  She walks well on the leash and enjoys her daily walk in the mountain area.

Please give Helen a safe and happy home to grow up so that we can continue to save more dogs in desperate need.
