Zori is a sweet girl!  She is good with people, friendly with young children, good with dogs and cats.

Zori is a great pup!  She loves everyone she meets, good with dogs and cats.  Zori is doing very well and ready for her own forever home.  Zori is also very friendly with the foster family’s son.  She is now in a foster home with over 50 rescued dogs enjoying the comfort of a safe and clean home.  All the doggies learn to share everything from affection to food to toys.  Zori started some basic obedience training and is learning at a good pace. She is crate-trained and house-trained.  Zori is one smart girl and will make a lovely family dog.

Zori’s Rescue Story

Poor Zori and her brother, Zorro, were found wandering the streets by some students. They didn’t know quite what to do, but decided that they couldn’t leave the pups on the street and so took them in. However, due to the fact that they are students and live on campus they couldn’t keep them for long and would get in trouble if they did.

The students found an experienced rescue organization.  When the founder heard their story she knew it was urgent to save both of them.  The founder’s home is full of rescued dogs.  However, she didn’t want to see them either end up back on the streets or in an overcrowded government shelter and so immediately agreed to take them in. They were rushed to the vet for a complete healthy checkup.  Luckily, both of them are healthy just underweight because of the lack of food.  Poor Zori and Zorro must have gone by with barely any food.  Zori is spayed, vaccinated, chipped, de-wormed, and passed negative on her blood tests.

Zori and Zorro adjusted the moment they arrived at their foster home.  They are enjoying playing with all her rescued dogs.  They are both very lovely and greet everyone with their wagging tails.  Zori walks well on the leash and enjoys her daily walk in the mountain area.
Please give Zori a safe and happy home to grow up so that we can continue to save more dogs in desperate need.
