Roxie is gentle girl.  She is good with people, shy at first, loves all dogs and good with cats.

Roxie is one sweet pup!  She is friendly with people, gentle with young children, good with dogs and cats.  Roxie has been through a rough start in life and is a little shy at first with new people but will quickly warm up.  Roxie and her sister, Roz, are doing very well and ready for their own forever homes.  They would love to have a home together or they can be rehomed separately.  Roxie started some leash training and is learning at a good pace. She is crate-trained and doing well on her housetraining.  Roxie rides well in the car and enjoys both a quiet home or an active life.  She is one wonderful girl and will make a lovely family dog.

Roxie’s Rescue Story

Poor Roxie and her sister, Roz were living as stray puppies in a construction site.  The construction site is near completion and both of them will have no where to end up.  Although, not every worker at the site were nice to them.  Some would bring them food and others would beat them up and chase them away.  Poor girls had a rough life and they held on tight to each other.  A kind lady who works nearby posted their story on Facebook hoping to find them homes.  She also reached out to several rescues but no one was willing to help them.  She was very discouraged and felt hopeless.  Luckily, the founder of an experienced rescue organization replied to her mail and agreed to save them both before it’s too late.  The founder’s home has over 100 dogs waiting for homes.  However, she didn’t have the heart to turn them away and have them suffer on the streets.

She brought them back to her home full of rescued dogs and gave them the best care.  Roxie and Roxie were shy at first but soon love the company of her pack.  They all learn to share everything from food to toys to affection.

Roxie and Roz had a complete health checkup.  They have been spayed, vaccinated, chipped, de-wormed, and passed negative on their blood tests.

We are looking for families that understands the responsibilities in raising puppies and have the time to properly socialize them to ensure they continue to grow up as happy and healthy dogs.  Before sending an application, please think twice if you have time to devote to raising a puppy and love them and be responsible for them forever.
