Geisha is a lovely and well-behaved girl.  She is very gentle to people and great with dogs and cats.

Geisha is a sweet girl!  She is gentle and polite with people, great with dogs and cats.  Geisha is doing very well and ready for her own forever home.  She is now living in a foster home with over 50 rescued dogs.  All the doggies learn to share everything from affection to food to toys.  Geisha had a rough start in life.  This does not stop her from loving and trusting people.  She is a little shy at first and quickly warms up to people.  Geisha started some basic obedience training and is learning at a good pace. She is crate-trained and house-trained.  Geisha rides well in the car and enjoys both a quiet home or an active life.  She is one smart girl and will make a lovely family dog.

Geisha’s Rescue Story

Poor Geisha was found abandoned in a remote mountain.  She was starving and shivering in the cold.  There was no shelter and she was found hiding in the bushes.  People in the area were not kind to her.  They would often throw rocks at her and wanted to see her dead.  A rescue group specializes in spaying and neutering stray dogs were in the area and caught her.  They do not keep dogs for adoptions.  They got her spayed and had to realese her to the mountain immediately.  However, one of the volunteer knew she would make a lovely pet and didn’t want to see her starved in the mountain.  The kind volunteer lives in a small apartment and couldn’t give her a home.  She reached out to an experienced rescue organization.  When the founder heard her story, she knew it was urgent to save her before she was released back to live as a homeless dog.  She immediately agreed to take Geisha in.

Geisha was rushed to the vet for a complete health checkup.  Luckily, she is healthy just underweight because of the lack of food.  Poor Geisha must have gone by with barely any food.  Geisha is spayed, vaccinated, chipped, de-wormed, and passed negative on her blood tests.

When Geisha arrived at her foster home, she was a bit shy.  However, it didn’t take long for her to enjoy the love from all the volunteers.  She enjoys the company of all her rescued dogs.  Geisha walks well on the leash and enjoys her daily walk in the mountain area.

Please give Geisha a safe and happy home to grow up so that we can continue to save more dogs in desperate need.
